Different Ghias

Alot of people think that Ghias are all alike. Actually their are several types of the Type 1 Karmann Ghia. For example their is the type 143. This the original Karmann Ghia coupe. It was made between August 1955 and July 1959. You can tell by its small fresh air vent 'nostrils' and droop-snout fenders. The headlights are positioned slightly lower on the bodywork. The tail lights are small and oblong.
